Revoltech Queen's Blade Rebellion Sigui Part 1

"Holy" Inquisitor

Cutie of the month. ^o^

Starting the review on an action figure after covering two gashapon-type collectibles (Yotsuba & holstein from Kaiyodo's Capsule Q Fraulein Yotsuba & Monochrome Animals set and Megurine Luka & race car from Good Smile Company's Nendoroid Petit Racing Miku Set 2011 Ver.) consecutively.

Sunday Movie Theater: Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Mad Fun

The second visit to the Sunday Movie Theater in this month alone, after "Kung Pow! Enter the Fist" features a movie that is as crazy and fun, but on a completely different level. ^^

Movie poster is from IMDB.

Arranging for this movie to be reviewed now seems rather inappropriate after the previous posting about the very cutesy and innocent Capsule Q Fraulein Yotsuba & Monochrome Animals gashapon set, but I'll do it anyway. ^^;

Capsule Q Fraulein Yotsuba & Monochrome Animals Part 1

Holstein

Still fresh from the more "serious" review on Play Arts Kai Gabranth, I'm thinking of starting on a gashapon series that is simple - even simpler than Megurine Luka & race car from Nendoroid Petit Racing Miku Set 2011 Ver. covered in the previous posting, but still very fun. ^^

Picking this gashapon set to review because it's not just simple and fun but very adorable as well. ^^

Nendoroid Petit Racing Miku Set 2011 Ver. Part 3

Megurine Luka & race car

Decided to take a short break from doing long review series after completing the work on Kotobukiya's HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn. ^^ Beside deciding on the next collectible to be featured on the blog, I'm going back to Nendoroid Petit Racing Miku Set 2011 Ver. to review the second figure from that set, after starting with Kagamine Rin about a month ago. ^^

The figure, her designated option part, and the display base parts.

HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn Part 12

Time to pay for all those IOUs

Completion is near for the entire work on Kotobukiya's HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn, with only parts from the head, plus a few others with mesh pipes painted in Part 9 left to detail after the previous posting

Head parts to be detailed.

HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn Part 11

Gold and silver paints from all sources

Continuing with the detailing on selected components from Kotobukiya's HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn after the previous posting. ^^

Connector pegs between the body frame parts that seem like pistons.
No worries, they will become pistons-like after some paint work. XD

HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn Part 10

Screws, buttons and dots

Continuing with the work on Kotobukiya's HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn after restarting the work in the previous posting. ^^

Starting with the leg parts.

Various sunken panels and slits are to be painted black to emphasize their gaps between the parts.

HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn Part 9

Unfinished mini pod and leg business

Done with the review on Play Arts Kai Gabranth, I finally gathered enough determination and bad ideas (XD) to pick up the work on Kotobukiya's HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn, which I left uncompleted back in June. ^^

First order of business is to detail what I consider the most interesting part in this entire kit: the Zoids Core.

Sunday Movie Theater: Kung Pow! Enter the Fist (2002)

If you like it, you will really like it; if you hate it, you will really hate it

The "Sunday Movie Theater" makes a special late appearance today - not just late as in the time of this posting, but it's supposed to be for September too. ^^; I was planning to post it late last month but as I was in Jakarta, Indonesia on a working trip, I didn't have the time to do a proper write-up. ^^; To keep up with my monthly schedule for this posting segment, there will be two trips to the movie theater on my blog this month. ^^

On the other hand, I haven't find any time to talk about my short trip to Indonesia yet. ^^;

Anyway, back to the extremely "serious" subject matter today. XD

Play Arts Kai Gabranth Part 1

Sure looks awesome for a bad guy

Moving on to the review of a much larger-sized action figure after Revoltech Yamaguchi Gurren Lagann. ^^

This also marks the return of the Play Arts Kai series, some 17 months after the review on Chunli. ^^

Revoltech Yamaguchi Gurren Lagann Part 5 [Final]

Good old simple Revoltech fun

Some more action poses from Revoltech Yamaguchi Gurren Lagann after Part 3 and the previous posting to start off this last part of the entire review series:

Random (149)

Four done, six more to go

Following my original plan set out before the end of June, I had the chance to do ten reviews in six months back then, now I have to complete six in three months if I (still) want to achieve my goal. ^^;

Even though I have started on Nendoroid Petit Racing Miku Set 2011 Ver. and is about to complete the review on Revoltech Yamaguchi Gurren Lagann, I still need to go back and finish up the work on Kotobukiya's HMM Zoids 1/72 Red Horn. ^^;

It would be awesome if someone could write a program that would help to put out reviews on my blog while all I need to do is to just play with them. XD
