BB Senshi Sangokuden Chouryou Gelgoog Part 3

Dragon and flame

Time to panel line all the painted parts of BB Senshi Sangokuden Chouryou Gelgoog did yesterday. ^^

Parts for the halberd.

The pattern on the blades resembles a fire-breathing dragon. Very nice. ^^

The little connector to form the "naginata" mode from Chouryou Gelgoog's halberd is not forgotten of course. ^^

Straightforward panel-lining for the helmet parts.

The sideburns area is painted blue using Gundam Marker Blue

Panel lining for the gauntlets.

Panel lining for the leg and shoulder armor parts.

Very nicely designed cell pattern on the shoulder armors. ^^

To simulate depth behind the armors, the interior will be painted black.
The work begins with painting the edges using normal marker, since it's easier to control and maneuver to reduce the risk of painting over to the golden areas.

Bottle paint used for the rest of the parts is Mr. Color GX 2 Ueno Black Gloss.

Result from the paint work.

A bit of testing to see how the end result would look like.
The exterior of the armors is not affected by the totally black interior. ^^

Same paint treatment for the skirt armor parts.

Very simple panel lining work for the rear skirt armor, which is the opposite of its front portion - to be dealt with greater precision and delicacy in another posting. ^^

Painted the feet blue using Gundam Marker and panel lined when the paint has dried.

The usual paint treatment to bring out the character names molded on the sole. ^^

Quite a bit of progress for BB Senshi Sangokuden Chouryou Gelgoog after the previous posting. ^^ However, there are quite a few parts with some crazy details waiting to be treated, so while the parts to be worked on is getting lesser, the amount of work needed doesn't go down proportionately. ^^;
