Super Robot Chogokin GaoGaiGar Part 1

Not the new, big one, but still very hot-blooded

After the brief "interlude" with Soul Stage Act 4 for Humanoid Clear, the regular review series on my blog continues with an awesome action figure, one that is super mighty hot-blooded. ^^

Soul Stage Act 4 for Humanoid Clear Part 2 [Final]

Cross-Act bonuses

Continuing the review on Soul Stage Act 4 for Humanoid Clear after the previous posting. ^^

The base connection feature can be used to display more than one figures on a single base, and it's particularly applicable if the figures are connected to one another, like Revoltech Yamaguchi Sengoku Basara Sanada Yukimura, and Date Masamune in this example.

Buy buy buy!

On top of chocolates and cookies, I did get myself a bunch of hobby-related items from my four-day stay in Singapore. ^^

Gundam, mecha, and figurines in Singapore (and Bangkok)

Even though March 10 (Tuesday) was technically the last day of my stay in Singapore, I didn't think it count since I had to fly back very early that morning. For that matter, March 9 (Monday) was really the last day I spent walking around and visiting various places in Singapore.

And the day was spent visiting many hobby stores that I know of close to my hotel. ^^

Instead of talking about just the stores I visited on Monday, this posting will be a compilation of the many I managed to snapped some pictures of throughout my trip in Singapore. ^^

Unconventional flexibility

Moving on to the articulation design of Galvatron from Takara Tomy's limited Transformers Specialist Decepticons three figure boxed set this time. ^^

A Sunday-only deal

Day 9 (March 8) - If it's a Sunday, and you love toys, figures, handicraft, antique coins, vintage stamps, unique drawings, basically all sort of collectibles, China Square Central's Flea Market is a place you have to visit.

Turned out that March 8 was a Sunday, and I was in Chinatown area as mentioned in an earlier posting, so the flea market was an obvious place for me to visit. ^^

Of course, everything was planned beforehand. ^^ There was a year when I went to Singapore but missed the flea market because Sunday wasn't part of my trip. ^^; Since then, including Sunday into my schedule so that I could visit China Square Central has become the norm for me.

Just pretend that it's fixed

A whole posting focusing on the robot mode of Galvatron from Takara Tomy's limited Transformers Specialist Decepticons three figure boxed set, after showing off its transformation design in Part 2. ^^

I actually forgot to adjust the right hip as promised in the previous posting before taking all the figure's pictures. ^^;

Let's just pretend that the hips are fine then. XD

Day 9 (March 8) - Revisited Chinatown area, a wonderful place to get lots and lots of souvenirs back home. ^^

Chinese lantern deco from the recent Chinese New Year celebration can still be seen throughout Chinatown.

Chinatown, particularly the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum is a place I never missed visiting in all my previous trips to Singapore. ^^

Transformers Specialist Decepticons: Galvatron Part 2

Rotate this to the left, turn that to the right, and I'm confused

Resuming the review on Galvatron from Takara Tomy's Transformers Specialist Decepticons three figure boxed set with a look at its robot mode transformation, after focusing on its tank mode in Part 1. ^^

As a self-contained figure, nothing needs to be detached before the transformation, although I did remove the missile to avoid firing it off accidentally during the process. ^^

I'll buy more next time

I'm already back in Kuching from my vacation since yesterday morning (March 10), but was just too lazy to update my blog. ^^;

As a matter of fact, that laziness hit me the moment I reached Singapore on last Friday. I relaxed too much and stopped blogging about my experience in the country after the first day. ^^; And now I need to do some backtracking, while no longer on vacation. ^^;

One of the mandatory souvenirs to bring home is chocolates, or some kind of food. ^^

Familiarities and changes

Day 7 (March 6) - Left Bangkok in the morning and arrived in Singapore in the afternoon. ^^

Due to the location of my hotel, Bras Basah Complex is the de facto first place I visit here in Singapore, as with my previous trips to this country. ^^
