Kabaya Brave Legend Brave Gum Part 4

J-Decker (Part 1)

Going back to mecha-related collectibles after the review on Figuarts Zero Boa Hancock Battle Ver.. ^^ This is also going to be a move away from Gundam action figure after the review on Robot Damashii [Side MS] Gouf Custom, as it's super robot, model kit, and transformation gimmick all roll into one.

After opening with King Exkaiser last month, the review series on Kabaya's Brave Legend Brave Gum shokugan set will continue with the second kit, J-Decker. ^^

Robot Damashii [Side MS] Gouf Custom Part 7

Back to normal

After the introduction of its Hard Point System in the previous posting, the gatling-firing and sword-slashing business is back to normal with Robot Damashii [Side MS] Gouf Custom. ^^

Supported using Soul Stage Act 5 Action Support Type for Mechanics Clear Ver.

Robot Damashii [Side MS] Gouf Custom Part 6

Legouf

As mentioned in the previous posting, it's time to have a look at Robot Damashii [Side MS] Gouf Custom's interesting Hard Point System. ^^

Since the feature is about versatile attachment of various weapons, weapon parts, and other component using a couple peg types, I think it would be useful in the understanding of the Hard Point System by locating all the connection points on Gouf Custom first. ^^

[Shoulder armor]: one round port + one round peg (either side).

Robot Damashii [Side MS] Gouf Custom Part 1

Deceivingly ordinary

Back to something that is more normal (but still very exciting ^^) after the review on ARTFX+ 1/10 Catwoman New 52 in the previous posting.

ARTFX+ 1/10 Catwoman New 52

A different kind of cutie

Moving away from mecha-related collectibles to focus on a cutesy (sort-of ^^) fixed figurine. ^^

Transformers: Prime Cyberverse Legion Class Knock Out Part 2

Transformers: Prime Cyberverse Legion Class Knock Out Part 1

That smirk

Another "Transformers: Prime" Cyberverse Legion Class review, about a month after Blight, nut this one has nothing to do with Abominus's combination. As a matter of fact, it's not even from "Beast Hunter". ^^

HG 1/144 Tieren Taozi Part 6 [Final]

Tieren family

The last posting for HG 1/144 Tieren Taozi already. ^^

A comparison between this original Tieren Taozi, and its successor unit, MSJ-06III-A Tieren All Region Type, or as it's more commonly referred to on this blog, Sergei's Customized Tieren Taozi. ^^

Despite being a successor unit, I assembled Sergei's version much earlier as compared to Tieren Taozi. ^^

HG 1/144 Tieren Taozi Part 4

HG 1/144 Tieren Taozi Part 3

The pink revision

Rolling out another model kit that was detailed last year, much like Kotobukiya's M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) Weapon Unit MW-26 Dynamic Chain that was completed in the previous posting. ^^

This is High Grade 1/144 scale Tieren Taozi from Season One of "MS Gundam 00". ^^

Besides the color (obviously), and the lack of the special GN beam rifle, this Tieren Taozi is exactly the same as Sergei's customized version, which I assembled in April 2012. On top of that, this is the fourth variant of HG Tieren for me, after the Ground Type, the Space Commander Type, and Sergei's version mentioned above. So, while it's indeed a new model kit to be assembled, it feels more like a revision instead. ^^

Kotobukiya's MSG MW-26 Dynamic Chain Saw Part 3

A very safe chain saw

Back to a bit of plamo kit assembly after closing out the review on Woodelix Rider Machine in the previous posting. ^^

With its minor detailing and painting done over a year ago, this is M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) Weapon Unit MW-26 Dynamic Chain from Kotobukiya. ^^

Boxes containing parts for two sets of the chain saw.

Woodelix Rider Machine Part 5 [Final]

Cyclone

The start of a new month, the end of a review series. ^^

Opening up the last figure from Woodelix Rider Machine shokugan set. ^^ After V-Jet, Battle Hopper, HardBoilder, and Machine Massigler, I wonder which figure out of the five I'm going to draw out this time? XD What exactly is the figure that I'm going to get with a 100% chance? XD

Random (102)

Change

A month ago, I experienced what I would consider one of the biggest decisions in my life yet: a career switch from being a university lecturer, a work I did for close to eight years, to becoming an administrative staff of a large energy company. ^^ While I'm managing my new workload and expectations, pretty well too I would say, ^^ there are many new things I'm still learning about in this new complex corporate environment. ^^ At my old workplace, I used to be able to assist new colleagues in some of the paperwork and workflow, but as of now, in this new company, I'm the new kid going around asking about this and that.

It's oddly "refreshing" to become a complete noob again in a workplace. XD

While I can't tell you much about the specifications of my work, I can tell you that my office level, Level 9, has perhaps the most amazing view in the entire building. ^^

There's a great view of Kuching's landscape to be seen as far as the horizon.
Unfortunately, there's also haze to spoil the picture. ^^;
