Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster Part 8 [Final]

Another display base is here to help

Back to the robot mode of Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster after the previous posting. ^^

The ability for the arms to be bent inward using their bicep swivel allows Cybaster to pose holding Discutter in front of its chest, with the blade pointing upward. This very knight-esque pose is one of my favorites. ^^

Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster Part 7

Not much to expect

Talking about the third robot transformation for this month alone: Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster's Cybird mode. ^^

Discutter, and Vanity Ripper have nowhere to be on Cybird. ^^;

Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster Part 6

Two swords are always better than one

Another round of action poses featuring Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster after the previous posting. ^^

Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster Part 5

An essential bonus

All action poses featuring Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster after an introduction of its articulation design in the previous posting. ^^

Going against its technical implications, Cybaster looks really good when it's shown wielding both Discutter, and Vanity Ripper at the same time. ^^

Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster Part 4

Just how articulated do you need to be?

An introduction of Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster's articulation design after focusing on its plain standing pose in the previous posting. ^^

Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster Part 3

Sharp and silver

More images of Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster after the previous posting: ^^

Technically, the swords shouldn't be displayed together, as Vanity Ripper is the upgraded form of Discutter. In other words, Cybaster should be holding just one sword, or two if only Vanity Ripper is split in half. ^^ Then again, why dwell into such technicality when both swords are just too awesome not to be shown together? ^^

Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster Part 2

Sharp, pointy, sharper, pointier

After the introduction, this posting will focus on all the accessories and option parts included for Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster. ^^

The main figure, and all the separate components removed from the two trays.

Composite Ver. Ka Cybaster Part 1

From a rather short-lived merchandise line

Back to mecha-related collectible after the review on Sega Prize's PM Figure Mari. ^^

Unintentionally put onto this month's menu, this figure adheres to the the theme of transforming mecha, which is shared by Kabaya's Brave Legend Brave Gum shokugan series, and "Transformers: Prime - Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Legion Class Blight, but it's much bigger than the two previously reviewed figures. ^^

System Base 001 Part 4

A more normal chapter from the plamo work log

Adding in more paints to selected parts from System Base 001, after starting off with silver in the previous posting. ^^

Minor screw-like details on all the parts are painted gold using Gaia Metallic Color No. 122 Star Bright Gold.

System Base 001 Part 3

Plamo bath time

The even more laborious work on System Base 001 is up next, after the putty work in the previous posting. ^^

Larger chucks of hardened putty is been shaved off the pipes using a pen knife.

System Base 001 Part 2

Bring in the toothpaste

The more laborious part of the work on System Base 001, according to my plan, begins with this posting. ^^

Before that, excessive Tamiya panel liner paint on all the parts from the panel lining applied in the previous posting needs to be wiped away using thinner-soaked cotton swabs first.

Some paint work has been planned for some of the parts, so I'll be revisiting some of the details to reinforce them with normal panel liner. ^^

System Base 001 Part 1

One super large part after another

Reviewing another unique plamo kit this time, after King Exkaiser from Kabaya's Brave Legend Brave Gum shokugan set in the previous posting. ^^ Not a mecha on it own, but it's mighty useful to support other completed model kits, and action figures. ^^

Kabaya Brave Legend Brave Gum Part 3

King Exkaiser (Part 3)

Introducing King Loader's carrier mode transformation in this last individual posting on the first model from Kabaya's Brave Legend Brave Gum. ^^

Kaiser Sword, and Exkaiser are detached from the main model. The chest panel is kept opened after the removal of Exkaiser.

Kabaya Brave Legend Brave Gum Part 2

King Exkaiser (Part 2)

Continuing the review on the first kit from Kabaya's Brave Legend Brave Gum shokugan series with the assembly of King Loader, after completing the really tiny Exkaiser in the previous posting. ^^

All the parts for King Loader, before all the stickers are applied.

Kabaya Brave Legend Brave Gum Part 1

King Exkaiser (Part 1)

From one shokugan to another, I'm starting another review series on a very interesting shokugan set, after the previous posting on Machine Massigler from Woodelix Rider Machine set. ^^

It's interesting enough on its own, but considering its relationship with the blog content for this month, it's almost like a unique culmination of all the genres of items reviewed so far. ^^

Woodelix Rider Machine Part 4

Machine Massigler

From one small figure to another, the review on Woodelix Rider Machine shokugan set continues after "Transformers: Prime - Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Legion Class Blight. ^^

My Older Collection Part 13

More Master Grade focus

A new posting from the "My Older Collection" segment, inserted in between the just completed review series of "Transformers: Prime - Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Legion Class Blight, and upcoming ones on collectible I've yet to decide at this point (^^;)

Transformed "Transformers: Prime - Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Legion Class Blight back to its robot mode to show off its action poses, after focusing on the beast mode in the previous posting. ^^

Moving on to the transformation design of "Transformers: Prime - Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Legion Class Blight after the previous posting. ^^

Affliction Hammer must be removed first.

Soundwave?

A closer look at the default form, the robot mode of "Transformers: Prime - Beast Hunters" Cyberverse Legion Class Blight after the introduction in the previous posting. ^^

Transformers: Prime - Beast Hunters Cyberverse Legion Class Blight Part 1

A forgotten beast

I don't have any idea on how to follow up after the review of Master Grade Sinanju Ver. Ka, but by casually bringing up Keropla God Keron at the beginning of that final posting reminded me of another combiner robot-type review series that is still ongoing, one which I pretty much forgot about after the first figure. ^^;

MG Sinanju Ver. Ka Part 35 [Final]

Quite similar, quite different

The last posting in this very long review series on MG Sinanju Ver. Ka already. ^^

Not discounting the two separate long breaks between the painting and detailing process, this review, which started back in late September 2011, has spanned to very close to three years now. It's the longest-running review series ever on this blog, even longer than the Keropla God Keron series. ^^ Hopefully, no other review in the future will break that "glorious" record held by this Master Grade kit. XD

As previewed in the previous posting, a comparison with its "indirect" successor unit, Unicorn Gundam in Master Grade Ver. Ka format: ^^

I used "indirect" to describe the two MSs' development history, as the addition of Sinanju Stein into the universe of Gundam Unicorn as the actual prototype of Sinanju, also implies that Unicorn Gundam was developed based off Sinanju Stein, instead of a Sinanju that features none of the emblems and stripes added by The Sleeves after it was stolen from Anaheim Electronics, as indicated in Episode 2 of the OVA series. That predecessor-successor relationship is much more direct, but in reverse in terms of these two Master Grade Ver. Ka releases. Unicorn Gundam came out in December 2007 as the first release of this series, followed by Sinanju exactly one year later. ^^
