MG Crossbone Full Cloth Part 11

Many parts, but not much work

Moving on with a little bit more progress on my MG Crossbone Full Cloth this time, working on the body and the two arms.

All the parts of the body.
Thanks to the Core Fighter system, a whole chunk of the body's inner frame can't be separated from the armor for such a small-sized MG. So the panel-lining work is a lot less than other MG kits.

Bandai's not so clever part separation in MG Crossbone Ver. Ka allows the Ver. Ka skull for the chest to be carried forward to this kit.
I thank them for this bonus feature really ^^

Comparison between the two versions of skull for the chest.
I'd definitely pick Ver. Ka's design for its realism and details over the more manga-like version of Crossbone Full Cloth.

Painted the circled area on the chest armor in gray using Gundam Marker to distinguish between that part as the mecha frame and the body armor in dark blue.

Shown with the Core Fighter.

All the parts of the body are panel-lined.

These few parts are the ones with most details, which are really nothing when compared to the likes of MG F91 and Destiny Gundam. ^^;

Parts for the left arm.

The head and tail of the knuckle armor are to be painted according to the color shown in the manual.

repeat for the other arm
Panel-lined the armors and the inner frame parts of the arms.
I only did the work of one arm, because the work for the other one was already done when I worked on Gundam F91.

With the work on the body and arms done, I have but two major components left unfinished for this MG - the cloth armors and the head. The work won't be too hard I believe. Done with all the parts for Crossbone Full Cloth, I'm hoping to start assembling MG F91 or BB Senshi Exia. ^^

RAH Chunli Part 4

Spinning Bird Kick!!

Time to see what RAH 12" Chunli can do. ^^

Kneeling or sitting is not a problem at all for the figure. She was designed to mimic human action in the first place.

The display stand.
Two clips are included, a larger one that can be used on the waist directly. The smaller one can be used to hold on to other parts of the body, like her leg.

Spinning Bird Kick! ^^
It's something I didn't do for my Revoltech S.F.O. Chun-li.

I used to think that two option hand units were a bit stingy of Medicom Toy to include for this figure, but it turns out that nothing is really missed. ^^ The super flexible articulation design of the figure itself is enough to produce many nice action poses.

I like the the display stand being in clear color. It's not really visible in many poses with the stand, so one can really focus on the action instead. However, there's one thing which I don't really like about it. I'll talk about it in the next review, which will be the last one for RAH Chun-li. ^^

RAH Chunli Part 3

Dangerproof action features

The articulation and design features of Medicom Toy's RAH 12" Chunli in this review.

A ball type joint is incorporated for the neck I think. The head can turn freely.

Two point hinge joint for the elbow, plus another one for the wrist for very human-like articulation of the arm.

There is sponge (?) inside the shoulder section of Chunli's Cheongsam I think. It will always remain "spongy" ^^

Chunli's signature bracelets with spikes are made of soft runner. You can't possibly get hurt from them at all. XD

There are metal strings inside the edges of the front and rear skirts, so you can adjust their shape for more dramatic appearance in certain poses, and they will stay in that form. ^^

Sticky patch on her dress and waist wrap (mentioned yesterday). The cut follows the real Cheongsam exactly. ^^ The entire dress can be removed can be removed I think, but I will not do that for worries of damaging it.

Despite her really huge thighs, articulation of the legs are plain awesome. ^^
The ankle joints are pretty tight and are strong enough to support many poses.

Part swapping for the two open palm type option hand units. Very long stick-shaped peg joints make sure that the hand units don't pop off easily.

Details of the fingernails.

Done with the introduction on the features, it's time for Chunli to go into combat action. ^^
