Double preview
A preview of what's coming up after the review on Figma Kenshin Uesugi. ^^

It's been quite a while since I did a double feature - the last one was back in June last year, for Alien Warrior and Alien Queen from the Sci-fi Revoltech series, so I've planned for a new one, which is going to start sometime tonight. ^^

Upcoming Reviews for September

???
It has been more than a year since I last had a posting with the "???" label, here's one to preview the collectibles to be featured on the blog next month. ^^



As you can see from the images, the theme this time is black-and-white finishing on other effects. ^^ Also, the total number of completed review series for next month should be four, as the currently ongoing assembly and review of Master Grade Sinanju Ver. Ka would be done by next month as well. ^^

A bit of hints on the reviews I'm planning to do in the coming month. ^^



All three images are edited with more than one layer of special effects, so they look wielder and harder to tell than the first similar posting earlier this month. ^^

By the looks of things, the double feature on Super Robot Chogokin Alteisen and Weissritter isn't going to finish until next month, so it's automatic plus two to the total number of completed review series for February. Adding in the return to work on BB Senshi Sangokuden Asurao Moukaku Gundam, Syukuyuu Gundam and Kyoshin Elephant Set and some other random this-and-that, February seems like quite a busy month for this blog. ^^

On a separate note, two postings with the "???" label put out within the same month, I just set a new record for my blog I think. XD

Having fun with special effect I'm not bothered with
Several of the new collectibles to be featured on my blog in this month: ^^



Like the previous posting of its kind, I'm putting out this posting to honor the "???" label, which currently holds the lowest posting count, and will foreseeably continue to take the first from bottom in this new year. XD This posting also allowed me to try out some of the special effects included in the image editing software I used for my photos, all which I never cared about, some I didn't even realize existed before this. ^^;

I'm constantly looking to include new material that is different from the normal reviews that I usually do on my blog, despite the contrary of what the blog is actually about thus far. ^^; I think writing about things other than reviews on action figures and model kits, and log records of model kit paint work and detailing would be a fun thing to do. However, my blog content has always stayed within those two categories as they seem easier for me to do. ^^; Even so, I'm hoping to realize some of the special segments I keep thinking about in this new year. ^^

The next review will feature something that isn't shown among the four images above though, and it's very, very special. ^^

The End of a Long Search

Not one, but two


Same case with Yamato's Macross Zero 1/60 Complete Transformation SV-51γ Nora's Unit, I have been looking for this item ever since it was released, but always finding it "Out of Stock" on most websites. With the huge box came in safely yesterday, the long wait is finally over.


Extra thick packaging to defy the handling quality of Malaysia's local postage service. ^^;
