In a depressing news to the snake community today, a python boarded an Australian airplane, believing it could enjoy the fun moments its brethren had in the 2006 documentary "Snakes on a Plane" featuring prominent snake expect, Professor Samuel L. Jackson. Unfortunately, the snake did not survive the 1-hour-50-minute flight.

After this tragic incident, all snakes are warned to not try any of the airplane-related stunts shown in "Snakes on a Plane". They are advised to seek help from the transport ministry should they require any long distance travel.
In other news, many snakes are reported to be preparing a petition to denounce "Snakes on a Plane" as a hoax.
