RG 1/144 Gundam RX-78-2 Part 3

Paint work as preemptive solution

Continuing with the work progress on Real Grade 1/144 Gundam RX-78-2 after the previous posting. ^^

Repetitive detailing work for the two sets of feet parts.

Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Black) was used to realize the intricate molded details on the sole parts.

Another set of "buttons", this time for the ankle guards that were extremely challenging to detail due to their tiny size.

Parts that were detailed using mainly normal panel liner.

The border between the gray foot and red sole parts is painted black using normal marker to highlight the gap on the completed kit.

Detailed parts for the left arm.

The four protruding tabs on the elbow part were painted using Gundam Marker Gold.
Realistic Decal pieces are included for the tabs, but I chose to paint the parts to avoid having to face the same loose corner problem as seen on the knee part mentioned in the previous posting. ^^

Buttons again, for the elbow joint this time. ^^;
The super-tiny sets of dots on the rear elbow piece were rather challenging to panel line as well.

The same detailing work was repeated for the right arm parts.

Not mentioned for those on the left arm, the forearm armors' tiny box-like details on their edges are actually more intricate than how they look in the first place. ^^

Buttons and rear elbow part.

Like a few of the leg parts shown in the previous posting, some of the arm parts have panel lines applied to their different sides.

Gundam Marker Gold paint for the elbow joint tabs.

Will be covering the work on parts for the torso in the next posting. ^^
