HGM 1/550 Dendrobium Part 4

Miscellaneous details

More work on the various parts of HGM 1/550 Dendrobium.

Parts of the main body are panel-lined

Some details on the larger parts

Test fitting the I field generator and main cannon onto the main body.

The base where the sub arms come out are painted in gray using Gundam Marker.

Was saying how I hate forgetting to paint a certain part in the previous posting, and I totally missed this one: the back of the main body where the thrusters are at.
Hand painted it the same way as mentioned in Part 2.

Panel-lined the details after the paint has dried.
Some pipe-like design found there.

Painted the pipes in silver and then refined by clearing excess paint and re-panel-lined.

Test fitting with the thrusters.

Some minor parts at the base of the sub arms (non-movable ones) are painted in gray (Gundam Marker).

The result after all the parts are panel-lined.

Comparison of the sub arm - the one shown at the bottom is movable. The shape and the details are identical.

Those little board-like section near the font of the claw are the hardest to panel-line among all these parts thanks to it situated in a very narrow valley. ^^;

Done for almost all the major parts. Will move on to the most delicate part of the entire work next - painting the 2 figures of Gundam GP03S and Gerbera Tetra. ^^;
