MG Figurerise Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker Part 3

Mechanical muscle

Starting the assembly on MG Figurerise 1/8 Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker. ^^

Parts for the display stand.

All except one part as shown in the first image are actually for the display stand. XD

The completed display stand.
Clear color makes it identical to the stands included for many other action figures.

Elevator with a tab to adjust the height of the stand is no stranger to those who have Action Display 1 and 2.

The stand can rotate at its base, and the connector can be tilted forward or backward as well.

Parts for the right arm.

A look at the elbow joint. The linked movement of the parts inside the upper arm and the elbow will cause the "muscle" (former name biceps brachii) to be raised.

Separable components for the left arm.

Completed

Overall articulation.
I was kind-of hoping for a full elbow flex like how most MG Gunplas could. ^^;

A separated elbow joint part that will pop out when the elbow is bent. It's not exactly linked to other parts except the elbow, so you can actually push this part back into the elbow without affecting the overall articulation.

Very wide articulation for the wrist joint. Apart from the rotation on the base, the default assembly of the joint allows the hand unit to be bent upwards/downwards (shown above). You can also adjust the joint so that the hand unit can be bent inwards/backwards.
Kind-of remind me of RAH Chunli - the design is exactly the same actually.

Articulated fingers that are of the same design as many MG kits, especially Zeon units.
The bent index finger is really not good for cool finger-pointing action. ^^;

Parts for the left arm.

Assembly is all the same as the right arm.

Both arms completed.

Done for the arms, moving on to the legs and waist in the next posting. ^^

Those wrist joints look the same like from SH Figuarts.

I think Bandai could have explore the Figurerise series before going MG. That shoulder joint, and elbow articulation looks pretty much normal grade to me. What's with that long thumb too? ^^;
