HG 1/144 00 Gundam & O Raiser Part 6

Unfortunate frost bite

Continuation on the assembly of HG 1/144 00 Gundam and O Raiser, with the work starting on the Gundam itself this time.

Parts for the right arm.

Foil stickers are used for the GN Condensers on the elbow and wrist. Instead of black, the stickers seem to be in really dark olive green.

Very straight forward design for the arm unit.

All the movable components are realized via polycaps.
Movable wrist is an extra feature as compared to many other High Grade kits.

Same design and parts fro the left arm.

Unfortunately, too much glue was applied to the wrist's clear part, clotting the gap between it and the sticker.

The crystallized dent inside the GN Condenser is not a good sight at all. ^^;

Parts for the left leg.

A large piece of sticker for the leg's GN Condenser.

Completed. Just as simple as the arm I would say. ^^

Same design and assembly for the right leg.

Very impressive wide articulation range for the knee.

Following Gundam Exia's lineage, a round shaped rotation for the knee, with some gray mechanical portion exposed when the knee armor is lifted.
The look is quite appealing to me. ^^

Very wide articulation range for the ankle to bend to the side.

Details on the bottom of the foot.

Hip joint can rotate. While this is already done on HG 1/144 GN-X, 00 Gundam makes even better use of this joint to expand its posability, since it has smaller skirt armors that would otherwise distort the hip joint.

Both legs completed.

Parts for the waist.
4 ball-type polycaps, which are rather new for the HG series at this point can be seen.

All major components.

Completed.

Pelvis joint can rotate.
The waist and abdomen has a ball-type polycap joint each, which feels pretty tight when assembled, but the action for the component that they permit is greatly enhanced as compared to other HG kits.

Position swapping to get the beam sabers to "move up" - just for display by the way ^^;

Lower body completed.

Assembling the weapons and body next.

i thought you might paint the medial side of the GN condenser on the wrist with grey, also the red abdominal part, that becomes the insertion of the thorax part, i guess that's in grey as well. Just share because that's what I did :)
