Putting the joints via new polycap design of 00 Gundam to the test in this posting.
Box art action pose
Flexibility of the Twin Drive is amazing. ^^
Action pose of drawing its beam saber is purely for show, since you need to reallocate the handle itself on the rear skirt armor for this pose. ^^;
However, I really like how the waist can be tilted upward to show a very human-like flex of the body in this pose. ^^
No beam part for the beam saber is included for 00 Gundam or O Raiser, this one shown here is from my Master Grade Shining Gundam, which fits in just right for the handle.
Stand on one foot with no problem at all.
Fully utilizing the option left palm there. ^^
Quite a sight there with so many "pointy" elements on a single Gundam. ^^
Thanks to the awesome leg joints, especially the ankles that allow the feet to always touch the surface it's standing on, the poses look pretty awesome on or off the ground. ^^
Very nice action poses of 00 Gundam/Raiser. ^^ The left wrist's clear part is still an eyesore, but everything else is great. Usually I have problem with the look of model kits when they are performing any sort of action without a display stand. The look can be somewhat unnatural, due to limitation of either the hip or ankle joints. With 00 Gundam/Raiser however, flexible hip and ankle joints allow wide articulation for the leg, and keep the feet touching the surface it's standing on all the time. The rest of the joint design probably deserve mentioning of their flexibility as well, but the action poses can help to highlight their capabilities better. ^^ This is easily one of the most articulated High Grade kits out there, even till now. ^^
A comparison with the HCM-Pro version of 00 Raiser in the next posting, which will be the last one for this review series.

I am really impressed by the number of ways you can think of posing the 00 Gundam. Really makes it seem to come to life XD
