Another round of action poses from MG Gundam Mk. II Ver. 2.0. ^^
The standby pose using the base that is included, with a little help from Bandai's generic Gunpla stand.
(Left) The lifted heel portion of the launch pad when it slides forward really helps to create a very dynamic pose for Gundam Mk. II when it's standing on it.
(Right) The gunpla stand helps the kit to sustain its forward leaning pose.
Apart from its own base, this kit is also compatible with the display base from Zeta Gundam Ver. 2.0, which is the second "Ver. 2.0" release. As a matter of fact, the special part that allows such compatibility is with Zeta Gundam, so you can definitely call it a bonus feature for Gundam Mk. II. ^^
The special connector uses the stand from Zeta Gundam's base ...
... and connects to the slot behind Gundam Mk. II's waist, right inside the Hyper Bazooka's mount rack.
Very simple but firm connection.
Apart from having no joint whatsover to adjust the displayed poses, mounting the Hyper Bazooka is no longer possible with the mount rack being occupied by the stand connector. ^^;
Bonus feature for the compatibility that comes with some limitations unfortunately. ^^; Well, not everything can be perfect. After testing out the special connector piece in this posting, I'm be returning to the more generic Gunpla stand for more action pose of Gundam Mk. II. ^^
The last posting coming up next will include another compatibility feature of this kit - the one that I always wanted to try even before beginning any panel lining or painting: combination with G Defenser from MG Super Gundam. ^^

Last posting next will be about combination with the G Defenser? How about comparison between the first MG you mentioned in Part 12: "A much closer and detailed comparison between the two will be featured soon, with more images of the various components."
