Day 4 (March 3) - I mentioned about my visit to Wat Traimit in the previous posting, and while the temple and the statue of Golden Buddha are definitely amazing structures of religion and arts to behold, I really love the vintage look of Chinatown where the temple is located as well.
Honestly, Chinatown seems rather run-down as compared to other parts of Bangkok I visited so far, but all the old buildings, and the old-school ways people follow for their livelihoods really fascinated me that day. ^^
As more and more areas are being developed and urbanized, I wonder how long Chinatown will stay as it is before it too has to usher in the waves of modernization.
