Figma RoboCop Part 6 [Final]

Weapon combo and flying poses not from the movie

More action poses from Figma RoboCop after the previous posting to kick off this final posting of the review series. ^^

Comparison with other "man-in-mecha-suit"-type action figures from my collection: ^^

With Sci-fi Revoltech Iron Man Mark VI.

With Figma Kamen Rider Thrust.

Disregarding the slight size and height discrepancies between the three figures, I think it's fair to say that they are of about the same size, which is not exactly accurate to their designs, since RoboCop's bulky armor should make it bigger, if not equal in size as compared to Iron Man. ^^ Then again, since all of them come from different character franchises of different eras, a strict compatibility between their scales is not necessary to have at all.

Overall, this is a very good average-sized action figure representation of RoboCop. If you are used to playing with Revoltech, S.H. Figuarts, and Figma figures, then this would be a great addition to your collection if you like the character. ^^ I know Neca and Square Enix had pushed out quite a few larger-sized action figures of RoboCop after this Figma release, and managed to incorporate more details and better paint work in their designs (which obviously made the figures' price tags higher than that of this Figma version ^^;), but they always seem to belong to another figure category because of their larger size. For that reason, while I do have a couple of Play Arts Kai action figures from Square Enix, I don't feel the need to compare them to my Revoltech or Figma figures. ^^

For this figure, getting an action figure representation of the movie character I love so much since my childhood days was more important than playing with the figure itself I suppose, even though I did have fun with all the "non-movie-accurate" action poses as shown since the previous posting. XD For that matter, its excellent posability really seems like an added bonus to my liking of this Figma figure. ^^
