Transformers ROTF Deluxe Class Chromia Part 4

Another Transformers figure with a huge cannon after Shockwave

More images of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" Deluxe Class Chromia in robot mode after the transformation shown two postings back. ^^

[Arms]

Unsymmetrical weird is the best description I can think of for Chromia, and for Arcee too. ^^ Her unconventional design might be hard to accept and like, but it's a very unique design nonetheless. ^^ Personally, I find the half-humanoid-half-bike combination of Chromia (as well as Arcee) to be very interesting indeed. ^^ The wheels and headlight are definitely characteristics of a motorcycle, but the shoulder armors, arms, chest and head give the robot a very different feel. ^^ It almost feels like a half-transformed robot when viewed from certain angles, even though it's obvious that this is its complete robot mode. ^^

With that said, I still like the motorcycle mode of Chromia better. ^^; Her robot mode is unique, but not necessarily nice-looking. While I can accept unsymmetrical robot design (some which I like very much), I'm not a fan of over the top disproportion like the two arms of Chromia. ^^; Adding salt to the wound, she doesn't move very well because of the left arm's massive weight and having her "legs" fixed to a stand. The articulation issues of Chromia will be highlighted more in the last posting for this figure, coming up after the next posting.
