Continuing the assembly of 1/100 scale Gundam Exia Roll Out Color Ver. after the previous posting. ^^
Identical sets of parts for the feet.
Separable components of the feet before the final assembly.
Done for the feet.
45-degree bend for the front section of each foot.
Parts of the right leg.
(Left) Foil sticker for the leg GN Condenser.
(Right) With the painted clear part inserted into the condenser's slot.
Major components of the right leg before the final assembly.
Done for the right leg.
All of 1/100 Gundam Exia's flexible leg articulation design can be seen (again) on this kit. ^^
Separated thigh and hip joints.
Parts of the left leg.
The look of the left leg GN Condenser.
Major components of the left leg before the final assembly.
The left leg is completed
The same articulation design as the right leg.
Both legs are now done. ^^
With the waist completed in the previous posting.
The completed lower body.
ABS mount rack parts for the GN Long and Short Blades.
A bit of part-swapping is needed to attach the mount rack parts to the outer sides of the hips.
With GN Long and Short Blades attached to the mount racks.
Parts of the body.
Foil sticker for the front side of the GN Drive in the chest.
With the painted clear part attached onto the GN Drive.
Sticker and clear part for the ring on the rear side of the GN Drive.
Major components of the body before the final assembly.
The body module is completed.
The fins above the chest can be lowered/raised.
The snap-on hinges are quite tight for the fins, so I don't think I'll be adjusting the fins a lot in the future. ^^
The same forward and backward bends as seen on the original 1/100 Gundam Exia for the shoulder blocks.
With the arms completed in the previous posting.
The completed upper body.
The main body is now done.
By pulling the upper body away from the waist for a slight degree, the waist can be freed from the crotch piece for it to enjoy a wider range of side-to-side turning.
Vertical tilt is no problem for the waist.
Parts of the head.
Sticker and clear part for the GN Condenser parts on both sides of the head.
(Left) Foil stickers for the eyes and forehead sensor.
(Right) Sticker for the back sensor can only be applied when the main head component has been assembled.
The head is done.
Fitting the head onto the neck joint completes the entire assembly. ^^
Only the gray pieces on the foil sticker sheets were not used during the assembly. ^^
A look at the completed Gundam Exia Roll Out Color Ver. without its four larger-sized weapons (GN Sword, GN Shield, GN Long and Short Blades): ^^
Without the usual spiky look generated by all of its mounted blade weapons, this gray version of Gundam Exia seems like it could fit very well into the universe of "MS Gundam SEED" or "MS Gundam SEED Destiny" as a Gundam-type MS with its Phase Shift armor turned off. XD
More images of the "official" Seven Sword mode of this kit coming up next. ^^
