Even though the animation series was done quite a while back, I still have many figures from "Transformers: Prime" yet to be reviewed on the blog. ^^; While this one, Rumble, is one of them, it's a very unique entry since the character never appearred in the show. ^^

Returning to the review on Gundam Construction Scene (MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM ガンダム大地に建つ) gashapon set after making a stop at Sunday Movie Theater two days ago. ^^

To be opened this time is the sixth individual pack, which is the last pack of the whole set to b reviewed. ^^

Sunday Movie Theater: Down Periscope (1996)

From one sea adventure movie to another
After reviving the review series last month with "Cutthroat Island" (1995), Sunday Movie Theather returns with another sea adventure movie. ^^

Movie poster is from Movie Poster DB.
Released just a year after "Cutthroat Island" (1995), there's no more pirate in this movie, and it's set in modern era. Then again, looking at the characters and their behavior as depicted in the story, they can make for a bunch of incompetent pirates anyway. XD

SRW OG 1/144 ART-1 Part 6

All the minute detailing
Continuing the work on SRW OG 1/144 ART-1 after the previous posting, focusing on the kit's many weapons this time. ^^

Simple panel lining for the shield parts.

While the shield's base part is pretty large on its own, and the separate white stripe part forms its intricate pattern details, these two parts do have some minor molded details to be panel lined. ^^

Black for depth
Making good progress on the work for SRW OG 1/144 ART-1, with only the torso, head, and weapons remaining after the previous posting. ^^

The interior of the chest vents is painted black using normal panel lining to emulate depth. ^^

Gray extras
Another round of detailing work on SRW OG 1/144 ART-1 after the previous posting. ^^

Excessive white and cyan paints on the front shoulder armor parts are scratched away (very carefully ^^) using pen knife.

ART-1, why you so colorful?
Continuing the heavy paint work on selected parts of SRW OG 1/144 ART-1 after the previous posting. ^^

Tiny slits on the leg parts are painted yellow.

SRW OG 1/144 ART-1 Part 2

Is there anything that doesn't need to be painted?
Counting all the parts that need to be painted and detailed for SRW OG 1/144 ART-1 after the introduction in the previous posting. ^^

Colors needed for the helmet parts: dark blue, white, and yellow.

One tiny bar on each side of the helmet is going to be quite a challenge to paint. ^^

All the paint work on the Personal Trooper mode parts would need to be repeated on their ART-Wing mode counterparts. ^^;
