HG 1/144 Tieren Taozi Part 6 [Final]

Tieren family

The last posting for HG 1/144 Tieren Taozi already. ^^

A comparison between this original Tieren Taozi, and its successor unit, MSJ-06III-A Tieren All Region Type, or as it's more commonly referred to on this blog, Sergei's Customized Tieren Taozi. ^^

Despite being a successor unit, I assembled Sergei's version much earlier as compared to Tieren Taozi. ^^

Closeups on the two models:

[Shield decals]

[Arms]

[200 x 25mm Smoothbore Gun]

[Legs]

Despite being a mere repetition of the assembly for Sergei's Customized version, building Tieren Taozi was still pretty fun. ^^ The model kit itself has intrinsically good engineering, and it has been more than two years since I last built a HG Tieren, so the assembly didn't feel like a repeated chore at all. If anything, my prior build experience did make the assembly this time faster, and smoother. ^^

As for the completed model, as mentioned in Part 4, the bright pink paint scheme definitely makes Tieren Taozi stands out among the rest. ^^ It's not just the most noticeable feature of the model kit, it's one that will make a very long-lasting impression as well. XD

Finally, a gathering of all the High Grade Tierens in my collection:

The Ground Type, the Space Commander Type, ...

... Sergei's Customized version, and Tieren Taozi.

With the Space Commander Type supported using Action Base 2, and Sergei's Customized version by Soul Stage Act 5 Action Support Type for Mechanics Clear Ver.

The Tieren "Council": XD

The Ground Type is the only variant without blades for its Smoothbore Gun it seems, and Sergei's version is the only one with a weapon other than the Smoothbore Gun. ^^

While Tieren Taozi is the last Tieren from the High Grade line for me, I still have the 1/100 scale Ground Type yet to be assembled. It's an amazing kit that I view to be on the same design level as MG Sinanju Ver. Ka, so it's definitely a kit I don't want to rush out. ^^
