Rolling out a Gunpla after the review on Sci-fi Revoltech Iron Man Mark VI in the previous posting. ^^ This is Kochu Gundam from the BB Senshi Sangokuden series.
Having completed the painting, and detailing of this kit just six months ago (^^;), the gap between the pre-assembly work's completion, and the actual build for Kochu Gundam is not as crazy as that of High Grade 1/144 Tieren Taozi, the previous Gunpla I that did. ^^ For Tieren Taozi, the gap was more than a year. ^^;
Parts of Kochu Gundam's main body.
All the parts with varying amount of applied paint work.
Foil sticker applied to the eyes.
All major separable components to form Kochu Gundam.
Done for the plain form of Kochu Gundam.
One-piece part for Kochu Gundam's sword, Zankuutou (斬空刀).
The right hand is designed primarily to nock an arrow on his bow, Eishinkyuu (鋭真弓), but it looks pretty good in holding the sword as well. ^^
The left hand's design is of a normal open fist for weapon-holding.
The sword can be mounted to the left side skirt armor, the weapon's designated storage point on Kochu Gundam. The exposed straight peg on either shoulder armor can be used to mount the sword as well.

Painting the "eyebrows" red in Part 5, the leg vents gold in Part 4 and adding more colors to Zankuutou in Part 3 turn out to be good calls, as the additional colors give Kochu Gundam more details to look at. ^^ The contrast between Kochu Gundam's rather plain base color (white), and all the added details give this model kit a very interesting look, even in this plain form. ^^
Some action poses of Kochu Gundam in plain form, with just a sword as his weapon. ^^
With support using Soul Stage Act 3 Action Support Clear Type.
Will move on to complete the armored form of Kochu Gundam in the next posting. ^^
