BB Senshi Sangokuden Bacho Blue Destiny Part 3

A little bit of this here and a little bit of that there

Continuing with the work on BB Senshi Sangokuden Bacho Blue Destiny. ^^

Like the shoulder armor parts painted yesterday, the shoulder parts have stripes of gold that need to be painted as well.

Panel lined the parts before painting the targeted areas gold using Gundam Marker.

Simple panel lining for the forearm parts.

The two waist parts require quite a bit of work as well. ^^;
The interior will be painted before the details and emblems on the surface.

Like the shoulder armor parts painted yesterday, the parts are panel lined first ...

.. before painted using Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint XF-1.
The edges of the golden stripes are painted using Gundam Marker.

Panel lined the parts before painting the "ribbons" red using Gundam Marker.

The top area is painted as well.
Just have to keep the paint as straight as possible, since there's no line indicating the edge of the "ribbons" ^^;

(Left) Painted the front skirt armors gold using Gundam Marker.
(Right) Special attention given to make sure that all the tight spots are painted. ^^

Reapply panel lines to completed the work on this part.

(Left) Panel lined the rear skirt armor part.
(Right) From the box side image, two belt buckles on the top corners of the part should not be painted.

Painted the part gold using Gundam Marker, including all the corners and tight spots.

Reapply panel lines to completed the work on this part.

Bottom view of the waist.
The black paint will give the skirt armors a feel of depth when the legs are assembled onto it.

The usual treatment for the name of the character molded on the sole. ^^

Simple panel lining for the leg parts.

While being pretty small, the top parts of the feet have quite a few areas with different paints required.

The finished kit shown on the box side has a slight variation in its paint treatment for the feet as compared to the foil stickers given for those two parts.
A small protruding area on top of the part is not covered by the foil sticker. ^^;

Applied panel lines to the parts, including the interior which won't be of much notice after the legs are assembled. ^^

Painted the stripes gold using Gundam Marker.

Painted the front portion blue using Gundam Marker as well.

The rear portion of the stripes are painted as well, despite its visibility on the completed kit as mentioned just now. ^^

Come to think of it, I should just paint the little protruding blocks on the feet parts blue and use foil sticker for its front portion to save some work (and paint). ^^; Oh well~

Even more painting and panel lining work on this kit coming up next.
