BB Senshi Sangokuden Bacho Blue Destiny Part 2

Gold outside, black inside

Starting to work on my BB Senshi Sangokuden Bacho Blue Destiny after the introduction yesterday. ^^

Like my previous BB Senshi Sangokuden work on Choko Zaku III and Chouryou Gelgoog, the parts to be painted gold are the "default" start ^^

All the yellowish golden parts to be painted.

Paint used for the task: Tamiya Color Enamel Paint X-12 Gold Leaf.

Result from the paint work.

All the parts are panel lined after the paint has been left to dry for quite a while.

The edges of the shoulder armors are going to be painted gold using the same bottle paint, but how about the white interior?

(Left) White interior for the shoulder armor as shown on the box art.
(Right) The interior is painted black for the completed kit shown on the box side intro.
Looking at the title of this posting, it's clear which version I chose to follow XD

Not the entire part is going to be painted gold, so the work is slightly more than the yellow parts shown earlier on.
All the parts are panel lined first to distinguish between the areas to be painted and that which isn't.

Painted the edges gold using Tamiya Enamel Gold Leaf.

Painted the interior black using Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint XF-1, which was recently used to paint the abdomen area of HG 1/144 Gafran.

The emblems on the surface are painted using Gundam Marker Gold.

Reapply panel lines on all the parts.
The difference between Tamiya Enamel Gold Leaf and Gundam Marker Gold's paint result can be seen pretty clearly there. ^^

Trying out the armors to preview the overall result. ^^

Come to think of it, using three types of paint on a single Gunpla part is quite a special experience. ^^

More painting and panel lining work on this kit coming up next.
