Assembling BB Senshi Sangokuden Chouryou Gelgoog after leaving it for about a week. ^^
Parts for 鳳龍双刃刀, the halberd.
Done for the weapon.
The red "ribbons" are optional actually, and they look better when placed behind the shoulder armors in my opinion. ^^
Details of the blade portion.
The smaller blade (鳳鉤刀) can be detached and then connected to the end of the main weapon (龍身刀) using a connector part.
All parts of Chouryou Gelgoog's main body.
Foil sticker for the eye.
Unlike Choko Zaku III or Giga Taifu Shiba-I Sazabi, I didn't bother using the DIY mono-eye sticker this time as the goggle portion seems somewhat too limited for the sticker to look good. ^^;
All major separable components.
Pretty standard fair for a BB Senshi Sangokuden kit I would say.
Chouryou Gelgoog in "plain" form.
While the details are great, the "heavy armored" waist and legs don't seem to match the "plain" upper body at all. ^^;
A bit of action with 鳳鉤刀.
Parts for the cloak/shield (鳳凰天舞).
Done for the cloak.
The shield's handle can be conveniently mounted near the connector area so you don't have to store it somewhere else. ^^
Very simple transformation for 鳳凰天舞: (1) The bat's head is rotated upward, (2) Clockwise swing for the two halves until they meet in the center.
Done for the shield.
The handle is connected to the slot in the middle.
All armor parts.
The two ribbon parts are from the halberd.
Two separable components for the helmet.
All done for Chouryou Gelgoog.
All the large armors and the expanded cloak contribute to Chouryou Gelgoog's bulky and rather intimidating look. That huge halberd of his is no kidding as well. XD A fierce-looking mono-eye kit it is, and I like it very much. ^^
As a kit with tons of details and ornaments, quite a lot of foil sticker pieces are included, but since most of the parts were painted in Part 2, 3 and 4, I get to have a lot of leftovers. ^^
Only the one for the eye is used for Chouryou Gelgoog. ^^
Action poses for this BB Senshi kit in the next posting. ^^
