HG 1/144 Genoace Custom Part 8 [Final]

Very white, quite average-looking, and Gundam Unicorn

Even more action poses from HG 1/144 Genoace Custom after the previous posting. ^^

Supported using Action Base 2.

Comparison with another two 1/144 scale Gundam AGE kits that I assembled so far:

Advanced Grade Gundam AGE-1 Normal

High Grade Gafran

The two scaled very accurately to Genoace Custom. ^^

On the other hand, since the comparison was made again and again throughout this review series, especially in Part 6, here's Genoace Custom with HGUC Unicorn Gundam [Unicorn Mode]: ^^

The rigid line details all over Genoace Custo do look like splits between the armor parts, so perhaps a whole set of special frames of a hidden "AGE form" may be revealed when they do split apart. XD

As a matter of fact, not long after this MS was first revealed, someone actually came up with illustration of how that fictitious transformation many actually work. ^^

Genoace Custom "AGE Mode"? XD
Image dug up from 2chan Archive.

I think I would have like the show even more if there was such a setting for Genoace Custom in the first generation arc of the anime. XD

Overall, I think this is a pretty average HG kit. There are some interesting part separation design that makes the assembly fun, and impressive articulation features that gives the model good posability, but they are not super amazing, or revolutionary in any remote way. ^^ It's a kit designed with simplicity in detailing, assembly, and look, and for that matter, it's actually a pretty good High Grade kit. ^^
