HCM-Pro Exia Part 3

Pro level paint details

My HCM-Pro Gundam Exia is finally ready for display and action after the treatment on its chip marks yesterday.

The dirty spots on the head have been covered up.

Chip marks on the beam saber/beam dagger's handles, armor on the hand units, and edges of the GN Blades' mount racks have been painted.

And this is how you attach the mount racks for the GN Blades - part-swapping involves the entire part on the side of the thigh. The HCM-Pro version is the only Gundam Exia with such feature.

All the colors are very accurately painted, including some very tiny parts like the GN Stripes on the top of the head and beneath the shoulder block, and the face. All the GN Condensers are painted with a glossy surface, which gives an effect similar to that of a clear part.

And of course, the GN Sword with shiny silver for the blade part, clearly separated from the fuller is another marvelous point of this figure. It's hard to believe that it's just 9cm tall with all the detailed painted parts. ^^

We'll look at the articulation points of HCM-Pro Gundam Exia in the next review. ^^
