Figma Takara Miyuki Summer Fuku Ver. Part 4 [Final]

The last part of my review on Figma Takara Miyuki summer fuku ver. features introduction on the very cool Minami Iwasaki.



As one of the 4 juniors introduced in the anime in the second half of the whole series, Minami is being portrayed as a very cool person. You don't expect the same kind of jokes or elements of moe to be played on her, which is kind-of expected really, when you consider the seiyuu who voiced for Minami is Minori Chihara, who also voices for Yuki in "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi". Yuki's straight face and straight short hair are totally inherited onto Minami, and of course the very quiet and cool personality as well.

Then again, Lucky Star is no Haruhi. Jokes are made on everyone in the anime. The father, the cousin, the teacher, no cool people are safe from being made fun of. One of the episodes almost completely blow away Minami's cool appearance, shown from the perspective of Miyuki's somewhat funny mom.

Minami comes as just a head part in this Figma set. You can swap her with Miyuki to get Minami summer fuku ver., but if you have Figma Miyuki winter fuku ver., then you can get the two neighbors to stand side by side.

No other face expression part is included though.

This is definitely a fun set for me. It's great to have a figurine or two of the character you like the most from the anime. Having both the summer fuku and winter fuku versions of Miyuki means more flexibility for the display. There are more face expressions to choose from, and there's Minami to pair up with her as well.
