BB Senshi Force Impulse Gundam Part 4

Luckily, it has only two legs XD
Back to BB Senshi Force Impulse Gundam. ^^

I suppose no other part in the kit would be more difficult to work on after the Core Splendor did last Monday. XD The legs have quite a few colors to put on, which is another case of painting many colors on very small parts. ^^; At least they are molded in white though, which makes painting on them a lot easier than the same work on the black part for the Core Splendor. ^^


Panel-lined the borders first.


Blue for both sides of each leg. Toothpick is used to get the blue paint into those hollow spaces.


Gray for the knee joints that are really just for show. ^^;
Painted the little ones in between the knee armor and thigh using toothpick again. Not really a problem after the even more troublesome experience with BB Senshi Exia's elbow joint. ^^;


Yellow for the triangular crest on the knee.


Red for the interior of the thrusters on the calf.


Gray for the exterior of the thrusters and a tiny little bit inside the vents of the legs.


Silver (from normal pen) for the pipes inside the ankle.
However, later I found out that they will be completely covered by the ankle guard. ^^;


Working on the two parts for the waist by panel-lining the borders of the different sections first.


Blue for the top of the groin and red for the interior of the vent beneath it.


Gray for the exterior of the vent.


Light blue (from Gundam Marker SEED Destiny Vol. 1 set) for the edges of the front skirt armors.


Black for the rear portion of all skirt armors.


Also painted the protruding rectangular portion of the shoulder armors in light blue.
Not too difficult this time given that most of the parts are white. Except for the silver hydraulic pipes, all colors used are from Gundam Markers of various colors.
