(Back from Blogger's posting problem since Thursday).
I love bling-bling, but seeing too much of them in a short period of time can be pretty bad. ^^; Done with the golden paint layer for the many parts of MG Shin Musha Gundam, it's time to close this portion of the work with an extra layer of protection for the paint using top coat.
Top coat used: Flat/Matt type from Mr. Hobby.
I still have quite a lot after using it on the GN Swords for my Gundam Exias last year, I did acquired a new can just in case the first one ran out.
Before top coat...
... after top coat
No visible changes to the paint really, which is very good. ^^
After about an hour leaving the parts to dry, they have to be properly stored to avoid any risk of getting their paint scratched off, and I have just the right tool for that. ^^
Pill boxes with different dimensions are compact enough to keep everything. ^^
They are very common and are conveniently available in many departmental stores too.
Separated all the parts into the different compartments according to the parts' sizes.
All packed and ready to go (to nowhere XD)
Done with the selected golden parts, it's time to move on to the other parts that have been neglected for at least 3 posting until now. ^^
Seen them twice before Shin Musha Gundam (MG Gundam RX-78-2 Ver. OYW and Ver. 1.5), but the multi-segment pre-assembled leg frames are still very interesting to see for me.
A bunch of unused parts from the runners.
Parts for Gundam Hammer are stored separately from the unused parts, since I have plan to make them useful for this kit. ^^
Empty runners after all the parts are removed.
All removed parts are organized and stored in individual paper containers.
Everything seems to be working well up till this point, even though I'm still suffering a bit from that self-despair charm I got from Part 4. ^^;
Still, one good thing out the many parts with tons of details to work on for this Master Grade kit is, no pilot figure XD
It's declared that no man can pilot a god-type Gundam suit XD
That's one less part to worry about for this kit, which is quite a refreshing change for me. ^^
