Lego Adventure: Creator Cool Convertible Part 3

Very cool indeed

True to its name, the finished model is indeed very cool. ^^ The color combo is simple but very nice to look at. The assembly design is very clever in the sense that most of the bricks on the topmost position have smooth surface, which really adds to the authenticity of the car in my opinion. ^^ An example of a not-so-good design in that aspect would be Large Scale Model 10187 Volkswagen Beetle. I'm sure the details of that model must be really awesome given its size, but tiers and tiers of bricks used totally dismissed the smooth feel of the hood. It could be that the model is so tremendously huge that there aren't any suitable part for a better representation of the hood, but it looks pretty bad to me. ^^; For that, I really appreciate all the white and maroon arc parts and bars shown in the previous posting that contributed to the hood's beauty.

Apart from the look, the gimmicks and level of details on this model are really nice too. The expansion/retraction of the convertible roof shown in Part 1, the doors, seats, dashboard, engine, wheels and wheel arches, movable hood and side mirrors are really fun. ^^ As noted previously, when assembling all the different components, they don't feel complicated at all, yet the outcome is so cool to experience. ^^

A very fun Lego set this is. Even though it doesn't feature Creator Transport Ferry's crazy size, part count as well as difficulty level in locating parts (XD) and assembling them, it's still a very enjoyable build, and I'm very glad I have this set. ^^

While Figma Drossel can't sit inside the car, ...

... she can most certainly sit on the roof to issue her order. ^^

Will try out the first alternate model of this set, the flat nose truck in the near future. ^^
