HGUC Sazabi Part 12

Launch the Funnels!

More action poses of HGUC Sazabi after the previous posting. ^^

With the Funnels launched.
The strings used are the shortest type among the six.

With the Funnels in attack mode.
Strings of different lengths are used this time. ^^

As mentioned in Part 10, the head can be tilted backward to show Sazabi in this flight pose. ^^

A show of all those painted thruster nozzles there.

Showing the Funnels following Sazabi on its side using Soul Stage Act 3 Action Support Clear Type.
It's not easy adjusting the clips to hold the Funnels due to their small size. ^^;

In case you're wondering, it's a pose for the mega particle gun in Sazabi's abdomen. ^^;

It's great to see that those DIY strings are working fine to hold Sazabi's Funnels. ^^ It certainly is quite fun to be able to pose them launching from the MS's backpack, but in a way, how great they are supposed to be is really in your imagination. ^^; That's a general issue with MSs with Funnels/Bits/Fangs for me. Their remote weapons look so awesome in the anime, but when they are realized through Gunplas, they are just accessories to compliment the main model, and in a lot of ways, it's hard to think of many poses that would suit both the model and those Funnels. ^^; I had the same issue with HGUC Nu Gundam, 1/100 Legend Gundam and HCM-Pro Cherudim Gundam as well. ^^;

For me, poses with handheld weapons are a lot easier to configure than the ones with remote weapons. That's a real irony because in terms of mecha settings, Funnels are supposedly a lot more flexible than handheld weapons. ^^

Another problem I have with Sazabi's Funnels is their size. They seem too small to look good with the main model. I'm not saying that their proportion is wrong whatsoever. The proportion is good, but when everything about Sazabi is big and fierce-looking, little "ladybugs" that stick out on top of the boss's backpack doesn't look that great at all. XD Again, that's pretty much like what I mentioned earlier on about the difference between watching those Funnels in action in the anime, and looking at them on a Gunpla. ^^;

I'm looking at the box of my HGUC Kshatriya right now trying to figure out what plan I can come up with for its swarm of Funnels. ^^;

The last part of the review on HGUC Sazabi coming up next. ^^

I kinda understand that the funnels looks "Strong"er in the anime.
We could do some photography touchup to make up for it though haha. :D

*Shudders thinking about the massive amount of effort to display Kshatriya's 24 funnels*
