BB Senshi Sangokuden Kibutei Sousou Gundam, Joko Serpent, Sohi Gundam Set Part 7

Starting the final assembly of another Gunpla in my collection: BB Senshi Sangokuden Kibutei Sousou Gundam, Joko Serpent, Sohi Gundam Set which was kept in the closet since late last month. ^^


Since this is a 3-in-1 set, I really don't want to assemble all three kits in one shot, ^^; so instead of finishing everything in one go like all my other Gunpla reviews, this is going to be a long review series with Sousou Gundam, Joko Serpent and Sohi Gundam getting their final assembly at different times.

The first one to be rolled out will be the general. ^^


The organization of the parts into five boxes is exactly the same as other BB Senshi Sangokuden model kits I worked on in the past. ^^

One large foil sticker for Joko Serpent's "eye". ^^


Little slots on top of the leg armor parts define which side they are supposed to be for.
Silver foil stickers are added to the front of the leg beneath the knees.


Long golden foil stickers for the stripes around the leg armor parts.


The golden stripes' edges painted with Gundam Marker Gold in Part 3 match the foil stickers' color pretty well. ^^

Joko Serpent in plain form is completed. ^^





Simplistic upper body versus heavy-armored lower body with sophisticated ornaments. ^^


Weapon parts for Joko Serpent's mighty ax combo 鋏刃戟.



The two axes can of course be wielded as separated individual weapons, called 豪鉄火, which obviously is its simplest form.


Using the blue joint part, the two axes can be combine as a forearm mounted weapon called 鉄火盾.



As its name depicts (鉄火盾 - 盾 literally means shield), it looks more like a shield instead of a handheld weapon. ^^


With the rest of the weapon parts: a connector, a short shaft and a tail connector to form ...


... 鋏刃戟, a large battle ax which is the default weapon of choice for Joko Serpent. ^^


The total length of the weapon is close to 12cm.



Unlike 豪鉄火 and 鉄火盾, the battle ax must be wielded using both hands to look good - something that's not easy to be configured on a BB Senshi kit. ^^;


Omitting the blue connector, ...


... the axes can also be assembled into a twin-edge poleax called 双鉄火.


The total length of the weapon is 18cm.

As mentioned before, it's not easy to adjust for this pose. ^^;

Still not as impressive (or crazy ^^) as Shusou Doven Wolf's main combo weapon, Sanzoukeki (三爪戟) though ^^
