MG Gelgoog Ver. 2.0 Part 11

Simplification of all details

Continuing with armoring up MG Gelgoog Ver. 2.0 after the previous posting. ^^

Armor parts for the right leg.

(Left) Two layers of part stacked neatly behind the heel.
(Right) Since the armor parts themselves are gray in color, it's kind of hard to tell that the top segment of the thigh armors had been painted gray. ^^;

A look at the caged calf thrusters.

Done for the right leg, without the two outermost pieces of armor attached yet.

With the armors attached.

No change to the knee articulation with those armor parts added, but the ankle joint's movement is severely restricted now, as expected since the same outcome was observed on Char's Gelgoog Ver. 2.0. ^^;

The knee armor splits and moves upward when the it's bent to the back.

Painted details underneath all the layers of armors.

Armor parts for the left leg.

Done for the leg leg, without the outermost armors.

With the armors attached.

Articulation design of the left leg.

Painted details underneath the armors.

Done for both legs.

Armor parts for the waist.

The tabs on the armors that were painted gray look seamless with the frame they are attached to.

A huge ring full of vents to be assembled on top the waist.
Like the rear skirt armor, it's one of the most amazing one-piece part in this kit. ^^

All done for the waist.

Will all waist panels and armors expanded.

Details underneath the fully expanded skirt armor.

The beam saber mount rack on the rear skirt armor.

With the legs attached, the lower body is done. ^^

Armor parts for the body.

Done for the body.

Another ring of vents circles beneath the chest all the way to its back.

The cockpit hatch can be opened, but it's not easy to see the pilot figure sitting inside it now unless some artificial light is added. ^^;

With the arms attached, the upper body is now done. ^^

Only the head remains now. ^^

Armor parts for the head.
The fifth new part of this kit - the "bald" helmet without a slot for the blade antenna will be used. ^^

Done for the head.

Hidden behind armor parts, the mono-eye camera is very hard to spot now. ^^;

Testing out the two types of blade antennas with the head. ^^

Fitted onto the neck joint.

With the neck area restricting the joint's movement, the linked movement mechanism of the eye can be realized. ^^

All done for MG Gelgoog Ver. 2.0. ^^

As with most Master Grade kit with armor parts attached, almost all of its inner frame details are now gone from sight. ^^; For MG Gelgoog Ver. 2.0, the effect is seemingly more profound than most other kits in my opinion. The joints are gray in color, so are most of its armor parts. Looking at it from afar, it feels severely lacking in terms of details, especially since its overall color scheme is pretty dull as well. ^^; Then again, it won't be in the Master Grade line if the detail level is low. More images of the completed kit coming up next to put all its details in close scrutiny. ^^
