Finishing up the work on HGUC Unicorn Gundam [Unicorn Mode] after the previous posting. ^^
All the left leg's parts are panel lined using Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Gray).
The small vents beside the knee and shin are painted black using normal panel liner.
Just like treating the molded details on the shield parts shown in Part 2, the thick lines drawn onto the leg parts using Gundam Marker GM02 Gray with fine tip is made thinner using a toothpick to give them a sharper and cleaner appearance.
Test fitting the parts to see how the right leg would look like when the parts are assembled. ^^
Detailing work done for the left leg's parts.
While they aren't going to be shown at all, the rear face of the ankle guards, which will just become fixed plates on both sides of the foot are panel lined as well. ^^;
The vent parts near the knee joint are painted black using normal panel liner.
All the right leg's parts are panel lined using Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Gray) as well.
The panel line and paint work applied to the left leg parts are repeated for these parts.
Detailing work done for the right leg's parts.
All the panel lined head parts.
As with other similar sharp pointy parts in the High Grade series, I cropped off the "toothbrush" bit at the edge of the horn using nippers.
Even without the safety bit, the entire horn looks really "fat". ^^;
(Left) The long segment of the horn is sharpened by scratching off as much plastic bits as possible on both sides of the part.
(Right) Not really visible in the image, but the forward facing side of the horn now looks sharp and blade-like. ^^
It's almost unbelievable that such a tiny fragile part can have so much plastic bit gotten rid from it. ^^
The work must be done carefully though, obviously to avoid breaking the horn instead of enhancing its look. ^^;
Excessive panel liner paint is wiped off the head parts using cotton swab soaked with enamel thinner.
Pin vise with 0.4mm drill bit is used to create the two Vulcan turrets on the helmet parts. ^^
Painted the interior of the forehead using normal black marker to give it more depth.
Test fitting the parts to see how the face and horn would look like on the completed model. ^^
And all the work is done for HGUC Unicorn Gundam [Unicorn Mode]. ^^ Some of the experience gained, for example paint and panel line work for the thrusters (Part 2), painting the hip area on the thigh parts and cutting the shoulder armor pieces to get the line details (Part 3) can be mighty useful when I start on the Destroy Mode. But overall, the work on this kit has been pretty simple and blissful. XD Hopefully the same smoothness can be repeated for the Destroy Mode. ^^
As usual, there'll be a bit of offset time between now and when I revisit all the parts again for the final assembly. ^^

Are you gonna use the sticker for the visor? Unicorn's visor is supposed to be green, but that kit comes with a blue sticker...
