As mentioned in Part 7 when the assembly started, the kit is exactly the same as Char's Gelgoog Ver. 2.0. That exactness is even more profound when the kit is still in this inner frame only form at the moment. The olive green and dark gray color scheme of its armors would set it apart greatly as compared to Char's version, but at the moment, it's the same inner frame. ^^;

Despite the similarity, the size of the overall model even at this stage is still a pleasant sight to see. It has been quite a while since I last built a model kit this big, so I'm very happy about it. ^^

The beam rifle is a bit different as the same weapon used by Char's Gelgoog Ver. 2.0, but it's a minor one in my opinion. While I do like the movable stand gimmick, its actual application is beyond me. ^^; I suppose the stands are meant to support the rifle when it's placed on the ground, with Gelgoog lying down and holding it from behind. That sounds cool, but looking at the monstrous size of Gelgoog's body, especially its bell-bottom legs, how can it be suitable for that sniper pose is unimaginable. ^^; Still, it's not a bad gimmick per say, and I like the extra size appended to the rifle by the stand and grenade launcher. A much bigger beam rifle is preferred to compliment Gelgoog's size, but I think the designated one isn't too bad.

Some action poses of the inner frame in the next posting. ^^
