HG 1/144 Cherudim Gundam Part 3

Once started, there's no stopping to it

Still very much in the mood for Chinese New Year, but I reckon the work on HG 1/144 Cherudim Gundam should continue, since Gunpla-ing is always a fun thing to do, so it's pretty fitting as the activity when I have some personal time. ^^

Moving on to the arms of the kits after the previous posting.

Very simple panel lining work for some of the parts.

Looking at it on the completed model shown in the manual (its left hand), the wrist part isn't all white at all.

All the sunken areas are painted gray using Gundam Marker, making them appear the mecha portion of the feet, integrated inside white armor.

To be consistent with the ankle guard's interior done in the previous posting, the interior of the shoulder armors is also painted gray using Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint Mini XF-53 Neutral Grey.

While waiting for the paint to dry, the external line details are panel lined.

Excessive paint on the parts' edges are scratched away using a knife.

Same paint treatment for the slightly larger shoulder plates.

Repetition of panel lining work for parts from the other arm.

Like the ankle guard and the just completed shoulder armors, the interior of the skirt armors are painted gray as well.

Excessive paint on the side and rear skirt armors' edges are scratched away using a knife.

Apart from scratching off excessive paint from the edges, the front skirt armors are also split so that each half can now move independently.

Tamiya Neutral Gray has been used in all three postings of the work on HG 1/144 Cherudim Gundam so far. Painting the interior of the armors has been a norm for this kit it seems. ^^

Only the body and head remain now. ^^
