1/100 Gundam Virtue Part 10

Reversed assembly reversed III: We have size and number

The completion of 1/100 Gundam Virtue is pretty close now, with only three components left on the list after the previous posting. ^^

Parts of the backpack.

Badly drawn line details of the GN Field Generator from Part 5. ^^;

Bits of gray painted areas here and there on the GN Field Generator's body and cover.

The slide-on feature for the 2-barrel GN Cannons' assembly is also how the weapon is deployed when completed. ^^ The two tabs used to stop the cannons from going out of the barrels are the triggers for the weapon's gimmick as well.

The backpack joint part has two blockage points inside it that prevent the GN Field Generator from being tilted downward.
It's a design to secure Gundam Virtue's fierce looking, at least for its "wings". ^^

Separable components of the left arm before the final assembly.

Two large polycaps are used to secure the joints to the backpack.

Done for the backpack.
Not as intimidating as GN Beam Bazooka completed in Part 8, but it's still a huge component. One GN Cannon is big enough, but there're two hanging up there. ^^

(Left) The cannon's arms can be tilted upward for 90 degrees.
(Right) Slight backward bend for the cannon's arm is possible.

The cannons can of course be rotated to the front to show off its firepower. ^^

Parts of the body.

All the yellow vents are separately molded parts which really add to the detailed look of the Gundam in either form. ^^

Foil sticker and clear parts for the GN Drive on the chest and back.

The grips of the cone can actually be released for a limited degree. This is a function not available on 1/100 Gundam Exia and Gundam Dynames, but rather than being something unique in terms of look and details, the purpose of this gimmick is meant more for the form change between the two Gundams.

Separable components of the body before the final assembly.

Slide-mechanism for the shoulder block that is pretty similar to that on 1/100 Gundam Kyrios.

Forward flip for the shoulder blocks and upward lift for the joint are common articulation features that can be found on Gundam Exia, Gundam Dynames and Gundam Kyrios.

Following the design pattern of the four Meisters' Gundams in "Gundam Double O" Season 1, the V-fin on top of Gundam Nadleeh's chest can be lifted/retracted.

Body unit of Gundam Nadleeh is completed.

Adding on Gundam Virtue's chest armor.

Hinge joint inside the chest armor allows it to be lifted for GN Beam Bazooka to be connected to the GN Drive for the weapon's "Burst Mode".

Attaching the covers to the secondary V-Fins' bases on top of the chest.
There's no particular tab or lock to secure the connection. It's just pressure between tight parts that hold them together.

(Left) In order for armors to be added to the shoulder blocks, the latter must be extended from the body first.
(Right) Frontal and rear armor parts to form Gundam Virtue's shoulder block.

The new shoulder block armors completely hide the white parts beneath them. ^^

Much of the secondary V-Fins are hidden as well when they are collapsed. ^^

Done for Gundam Virtue's body unit.

With the backpack completed earlier on.

Two pairs of pins and slots secure the backpack to Gundam Virtue's back.

Very secure connection between the body and backpack.

With the lower body completed in the previous posting.

The rear skirt armor needs to be detached so that the three pins behind Gundam Virtue's waist can be secured to their dedicated slots beneath the armor.
With both hip and waist locked, there'll be no lateral articulation for the waist then. ^^;

Only the head remains now.

Parts of the head.

Another look at the GN Stripes on top of the head, very recently painted in Part 8. ^^

Foil stickers are used for the GN Condensers on either side of the helmet before the clear parts are assembled.

Foil stickers are used for the eyes and forehead scope.

The rear helmet pieces snap onto the gray connector.

Simple slide-on design for Gundam Virtue's top forehead piece and mask.

Done for the head

Assembled onto the neck joint.

Gundam Nadleeh's "hair pieces" and thinner V-Fin are to be left till that hidden form is introduced. ^^

All done for Gundam Virtue. ^^

All the gray and white foil sticker pieces are spared this time XD

More images of this completed kit in the next posting. ^^
