Gashapon Gunsou Gattai Kerobot V Part 6 [Final]

Mugenbine maniac

The last posting on Gunsou Gattai Kerobot V gashapon set.

Getting Kerobot V off the ground with the help of Soul Stage Act 3 Action Support Clear Type.

Even though it's a gashapon toy, the articulation design is very amazing. Having shoulder joints that can bend to the front of the body gives the combined figure a lot of action poses with its arms; the separated hip and thigh joint, a feature commonly found on Gunplas and other action figures totally upgrades the legs' articulation and provides stability to it when it's standing. Might as well just call it an action figure I suppose. ^^

On the other hand, you can mix and match the different components in the entire set to configure alternate forms for Kerobot V or the individual vehicle units. ^^

Replacing the right hand with the drill head from Giro Driller and the entire left arm with the backpack (Giro Driller's caterpillar base) as its shield.

Since the base is removed, Doro Jetter must be dismounted as well. ^^;

Of course, even more alternate forms are possible, up to your imagination and creativity. ^^ The entire idea is very close to another shokugan series from Bandai, the Mugenbine series, where you can configure the different items in a single set to form the robot following the instruction manual, or mix and match all of them to form your own imaginary robots. ^^

Comparison with HGUC Gundam RX-78-2.
While it's just a little bit taller, Kerobot V is certainly much larger volume-wise as compared that Gunpla.

A very fun item set to have I would say. The tiny figures and Keroro and his gangs are adorable enough to impress me, but the vehicle units that are designed with a little dosage of parody of Combattle V, but perhaps more true to the mischievous nature of Keroro and his bag of tricks are the real highlight. ^^ I imagine its intended customers, kids would have tons of fun playing with the gattai and the compatibility between the different units, but even for grown-ups like me, it's a really fun toy set to have ^^
