S.I.C Kiwami Damashii Kamen Rider Agito Trinity Form Part 3

A super-posable action figure, just much smaller in size

A look at S.I.C Kiwami Damashii Kamen Rider Agito Trinity Form's articulation design after the previous posting. ^^

Tilting the head upward and downward can be done easily, but the effect is not obvious.

Horizontal tilt is not a problem at all for the head.

The head is separated from the neck piece to reveal the ball-type neck joint.

The neck itself is actually a separate part between the head and chest and can be turned from side to side, but it offers little help to the neck articulation. ^^;

Either shoulder armor doesn't obstruct the upward lift of the arms from their respective side of the body. ^^

Unlike other S.I.C Kiwami Damashii figures like Kamen Rider Blade King Form and Kamen Rider Blade Jack Form, the armor is connected to the edge of the shoulder area via hinge-type joint, thus allowing for greater range of upward lift.

The shoulder joints allow the arms to be swung to the front and to the back.

The ball-hinge combinational shoulder joint connecting either arm to the figure's body.

The upper arm moves separately from the shoulder joint, but there's no separate joint for the forearm to swivel around the elbow.

Compensating for the lack of forearm swivel is a full 180-degree elbow bend. ^^

Restricted ball-type movement for the wrist.

Side-to-side bend is very easy with the upper body.

The upper body can be bent forward and backward.

The upper body is separated from the waist to reveal the large ball-type abdominal joint.

Ball-type joints for the hips.

Pretty wide expansion for the hip joints.

The leg can be lifted forward for a full 90 degrees.
As usual, the leg's backward bend is limited by its buttocks.

The thigh is capable of swiveling around the hip joints.

Like the elbow joint, the knee can be bent for a full 180 degrees.

Wide vertical bending range for the ankle joint via its hinge component.

Either foot can be swivelled from side to side quite flexibly via the ankle joint's straight peg.

Despite its size, S.I.C. Kiwami Damashii Kamen Rider Agito Trinity Form seems just as flexible as a regular-sized action figure with the articulation design as introduced above. ^^ As compared to other action figures from the same series reviewed in the past, such as Kamen Rider Blade King Form and Garo Kiwami Damashii Kiba, the shoulder armor's wide upward lift, 180-degree elbow and knee bends are the most significant boosts to Kamen Rider Agito Trinity Form's posability. Furthermore, the figure also benefits from having fewer bulky armor pieces that may obstruct its's movement.

Then again, I also believe that the improved articulation features comes directly from Kamen Rider Agito's intrinsic design, since the base figure, the weapon-less original Ground Form was designed with high posability in mind to cater for its martial art-oriented action poses. ^^ This Trinity Form is pretty much the same as the original Ground Form but with different arms and two weapons for extra fun. ^^

Supported using Soul Stage Act 4 for Humanoid Clear.

The last posting for this review series, featuring more action poses from this S.I.C Kiwami Damashii action figures is coming up next. ^^
