MG Johnny Ridden's Customized High Mobility Type Zaku II Ver. 2.0 Part 12

Back to familiarity

Continuing with the assembly of MG Johnny Ridden's Customized High Mobility Type Zaku II Ver. 2.0 after the previous posting. ^^

Inner frame parts for the left leg.

Everything is the same as the right leg completed the previous posting, so there's no need to elaborate on the innermost component and the high mobility type add-on anymore. ^^

Inner frame of the left leg completed.

All the painted details that are consistent with the right leg. ^^

The same discounted articulation for the left leg XD

Both legs are now done.

An overview of both legs' articulation.

Inner frame parts for the waist.

The waist is one of the few components that is inherited exactly from the very first MG Zaku II Ver. 2.0. ^^

No panel lining applied to the top of the skirt armors' frame parts since they are going to concealed by the armors later on.

A little bit of details beneath the frame parts.
The overall level of details will be enhanced by the armor parts later on.

(Left) A large polycap for the peg-type hip joint.
(Right) Apart from having ball-type joints that allow them to be flipped upward, the side skirt armors' frame parts are mounted on a set of joints that can swing to the back of the waist, giving the leg more room for movement.

With both legs.

Lower body completed.

Kneeling pose is still OK, quite forcefully so though. ^^;

Inner frame parts for the backpack.

Very elaborately painted thruster parts. ^^

(Left) The fuel tank (?) with some details of its own will be concealed after the completion of the backpack.
(Right) The concealed details can be revealed quite easily though, since the two backpack parts can be removed very easily thanks to the connector design.

Done for the backpack.
Another set of gold and red combo like the legs. ^^

Inner frame parts for the body unit.

Assembling the pilot figure and cockpit set painted in Part 7 first. ^^

A look at the figure inside the cockpit.
Without extra lighting (as shown on the right), not much can be seen actually. ^^;

Components and parts for the body unit.

One of MG Zaku II Ver. 2.0's gimmicks: changing the pilot cockpit's position inside the chest via a trigger on the back.

Linked movement of the shoulder joint and a hydraulic pipe that supports it.

Separable components of the chest and abdomen.

Done for the body unit. ^^

The abdomen joint allows the upper body to bend forward for a slight degree.

With both arms and the backpack.

Upper body completed.
When matched with the large body and backpack, the arms seem extra thin. ^^;

The entire body is now done. ^^

Inner frame parts for the head.

Assembling the mono-eye camera part is a highly ceremonial step for me in completing this kit. ^^

"Gear action" of the neck joint part behind the mono-eye unit allows the latter to move.

Added the clear visor and skull parts to complete the head unit.

Assembled onto the completed inner frame.

The mono-eye camera's position follows the horizontal movement of the neck joint. ^^

Done for MG Johnny Ridden's Customized High Mobility Type Zaku II Ver. 2.0's inner frame. A whole posting with more images of it and some action poses will be up next. ^^
