Keropla God Keron Part 3

Troublesome shield

The second round of work on Keroro Robo Mk-II after the previous posting. ^^

(Left) The vent part behind Keroro Robo Mk-II needs two colors to be applied.
(Right) Painted the vents themselves red using Gundam Marker Red.

(Left) The "frame" around the vents is painted using Gundam Marker Gray.
(Right) Reapplied panel lines to the whole part once the paint has dried.

Line details behind the vent part is applied using a combination of Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Black) and normal panel liner.

The details behind the shield are done using Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Black) and normal panel liner.

(Left) Unbelievably but true, no sticker is included for the large blue areas on the shield, so they have to be painted. ^^;
(Right) The targeted areas are painted using Gundam Marker Blue.

Not the best paint work on such an important part (since it'll be used to form the chest panel of God Keron) at all. I'll most likely be returning to this part in the future. ^^;

Simple panel lining for Keroro Robo Mk-II's rifle.

Referring to the image on the manual, which isn't very clear anyway, ^^; the targeting scope is painted gold using Gundam Marker Gold.

The four leg parts require quite a bit of paint and panel line work as well. ^^;

Painted the thruster areas gray using Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint Mini XF-53 Neutral Grey.

Excessive gray paint is scratched away using a knife.
The interior of the thrusters is painted red using Gundam Marker.

Once the previous layer of paint has dried, the thruster nozzles not covered by Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint Mini XF-53 Neutral Grey just now are painted over using Gundam Marker Gray.
The marker's flat tip is ideal to paint over the parts accurately.
Also, the areas inside the thrusters are painted using panel liner.

Simple panel lining for the leg parts' line details.

The details on the sole are done using Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Black) and normal panel liner.
The rather shallow thrusters are painted using Gundam Marker Red before panel lines are added to their details.

Pipe-like details in front of the knee joint parts are painted using Gundam Marker Gold. ^^

The leg thrusters are painted black using normal marker.
The nozzles were painted red in the previous posting.

There are still quite a few parts that require a great deal of paint work yet to make their appearance. They'll have to wait I suppose, as I had my share of the fun from working on plamo kit parts after three postings on Keropla God Keron, for now. ^^ I'll be returning to the review of Master Grade Zeta Plus after this. ^^
