Done with the review of MG Zeta Plus, it's time to resume some
The vents on the hips don't seem to be painted as shown on the box side image, but to keep the parts' finished look close to the shoulder vents painted in Part 2, I'll paint the two hip parts in similar fashion. ^^
The line details inside the vents are panel lined using Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Black).
(Left) The "wall" inside the vent parts is painted using toothpick with Gundam Marker Red.
(Right) Reapplied panel lines to those tiny bit of details after the paint has dried.
Simple panel lines applied to all areas of the hip parts using normal panel liner and Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Black).
(Left) The crotch part has a very Gundam-ish feel to it, with the sunken area and a little protruding emblem inside it. On Gundams, it would be a tiny "V" signifying the Earth Federation, on Keroro Robo Mk-II, it's a small star for Keroro of course. ^^ A tiny sticker is given for the star, but it's not going to be great to cover that protruding part. ^^;
(Right) Before the paint work, the targeted area is panel lined first.
Painted the star using Gundam Marker Yellow before filling up its surrounding area using Gundam Marker Red.
Excessive paint is scratched away using a knife before panel lines are reapplied to the entire part. To add a little bit more details to the entire part, A tiny dot beneath the sunken area is painted gold using normal pen. ^^
Almost the end of the work for Keroro Robo Mk-II at this stage, with only parts for the body and small figure of Keroro remain now. ^^
