After close to about a month of absence, the ongoing review of MS Gundam Seed Heroines 4 gashapon set returns with the fourth figurine: Meer Campbell.
She's not the first figurine of Meer Campbell in my collection, so I'll skip the introduction on the character herself since I must have mentioned about it for more than once in previous reviews. ^^;
A little bit of assembly is required, as the figurine is being separated into a few parts.
(Left) Getting Meer to get into her dress is not an "elegant" task. ^^; The legs would have to be squeezed through the dress from the top until the dress fits to her hips. ^^
(Right) Adjusting the supporting stand to clip to the figurine's left leg under that dress is a somewhat challenging task too. ^^;
Done for the figurine's simple assembly. ^^

Closeups on the details:
Although the character appeared in quite a few gashapon series before and after this set - two of them were featured in my previous reviews (HGIF Gundam Character 3 Vol Gundam SEED Destiny and MS Gundam Seed Destiny EF Collection 3), this particular version is still a very gorgeous design. ^^ Like all figurines of Meer (and Lacus as well), the design of her long pink hair continues to impress on this version. It's also noticeable to me after reviewing so many different versions of Lacus and Meer, their hair designs are all different. ^^ Some of them may be sculptured to be in a rather standard standing pose, but their hair designs still differ. Like their face sculpts, the hair is an important part on the figurines to display their beauty it seems. I normally put more emphasis on the face sculpt and detailing, and this applies to all figurines in general, but realizing the amount of work put into Lacus/Meer's hair design to make all of them unique is quite amazing. ^^ Being different alone isn't enough obviously, the beautiful flow of the hair seemed to them their own expression to enhance the figurines' overall display. The hair parts themselves have great sculpt details to admire to begin with. I certainly appreciate the amount of work and attention to details put into designing them. ^^
Apart from her hair, the overall figurine's design is tremendous. ^^ The sculpture of her body that emphasizes her hip line, however little that's revealed above the dress is very lovely. ^^ Tiny details like the few lines of wrinkle around her waist as she is posed leaning to the design of her left pointing hand just add to the overall quality of figurine. ^^ The colors are very nice and the paint work is accurate as well.
I like the face sculpt of Meer as well. ^^ She wears a thin smile that isn't too characteristic of the character - Meer is always the super-sexy and hyperactive version of Lacus in my memory. XD The smile might seems suited for Lacus instead, but it's a very nice design nonetheless, one that is actually quite true to the character design as seen in the anime series. It's definitely better than Aisha's face sculpt in my opinion, but apart from Aisha, everyone in this gashapon set doesn't have a face sculpt that is as "off", so that's not a very useful statement to commend Meer's design. ^^;
On that note, poor Aisha. ^^;
Meyrin is on the box art because of her lovely smile I suppose, but Meer truly deserves her spot on the box art for her tremendous design. She's not my favorite character in this gashapon set, but the figurine is probably sharing the same top spot as Lacus in my opinion. ^^
Because of her similarity to Lacus Clyne, who is also a very prominent character to be featured in various gashapon series, having an entire "squadron" of seemingly the same pink-haired character is inevitable if you're very much into gashapon collection. XD I know I have my "squadron" of Meer Campbell/Lacus Clyne gashapon figurines. ^^ Formation of the team started back in November 2011 with MS Gundam Seed Destiny Heroines 7. ^^
With Lacus from the same series.
With the MS Gundam Seed Destiny EF Collection 3 version of herself.
The costume is the same, the pose is identical, but the expression and hand gestures are different between the two. ^^
With the "non-standing" HGIF Gundam Character 3 Vol Gundam SEED Destiny version. ^^
And finally, the assembly of all "Lacuses" and "Meers" from my collection. XD
That's certainly a lot of pink hair on the table right now. XD
