Still on Stella Loussier from MS Gundam Seed Destiny Heroines 3 gashapon set after the previous posting, but with a different costume presented by the option part included. ^^
Extremely simple part-swapping for the costume change. ^^
More images of Stella in her white and powder blue pinafore: ^^
Closeups on the details: ^^
This is the pinafore Stella wears beneath her "special" Earth Alliance military uniform, and it's a really lovely dress. ^^ However odd the overall combination may look, I think the dress matches her long white boots better than that military uniform. ^^
Like what I said about the paint work on these gashapon figurines in the previous posting, the design of the pinafore is very accurate to its depiction in the anime series. I particularly like the unique folds in front and behind the skirt. They are the special design features on the entire costume and are certainly well done on this figurine.
The part-swapping design is so simple it's needless of any mentioning really. ^^ It kind of reminded me of the simple costume change gimmick on Megahouse's Character Studio Yzak Joule.
The pose on this version of Stella is pretty much just as weird as her default form shown in the previous posting. She is shown with really straight arms and clutched fists with the back of the hands facing forward. ^^; What does that mean actually? Her emotionless expression is not helping at all in answering that question. ^^;
With Flay from the same gashapon set:
Both of them are female characters who presented some significant emotional challenges to the protagonists of their respective shows, and both of them suffered tragically before their demise.
And the two continued to appear in the show till the very end through numerous accounts of flashbacks too. XD
One more figurine from this gashapon set - Cagalli to go before the review is done, but before the conclusion, I'll be returning to BB Senshi Sangokuden Tenshouryu Koumei Nu Gundam to finish up that model kit. ^^
