Discarding the disappointment I have about this Transformers United version of Rodimus not having some of features I like about its Henkei! release as mentioned in Part 1, this is an awesome-looking figure of what I would consider a better representation of Rodimus in robot mode. ^^ Even through the color scheme links it to his design in the cartoon series, the bulky appearance certainly doesn't support that image. ^^; However, if that cartoon image and perhaps "obligatory linkage" is not considered, I actually like the beefed up image of Rodimus portrayed through this figure - which is why I love the Henkei! version so much in the first place. ^^

With an overall red color scheme, decorated with flame patterns on the body and limbs, plus having a pair of giant wings on the backpack, a bulky macho build is a must-have for Rodimus to show a more credible and powerful image as the Autobot leader I would say. ^^ I prefer that to the tall skinny version as seen in the cartoon series, and that strong but "imaginative" image of Rodimus can certainly be seen on this figure. ^^ So, on that note, this is certainly a great-looking Transformers figure. ^^

A great-looking figure this is, but not necessary having great articulation to support that image. ^^; The articulation design and some action poses of Rodimus will be up next in the last posting of this review series. ^^
