HG 1/144 Sergei's Tieren Taozi Part 3

Just simple panel lining for ...

Back to work on HG 1/144 Sergei's Tieren Taozi this time. ^^

With just simple panel lining required for most of the other parts after Part 2, the entire work can be concluded with this posting. ^^

[Waist]

[Shoulder shields]

[Legs]

[Arms]
Interior of the elbow and knuckle armors are painted in black using normal markers. This is a feature I did for the Space Commander Type as well. ^^

[Head]

Unlike the Space Commander Type, Tieren Taozi has a few mono-eye camera, all which need to be painted.

For the top-of-the-head sensors unique to Tieren Taozi, the first layer of paint applied is Gundam Marker Gray for the "track" on which the sensors are supposed to move.

Panel lines applied to outline the "track".

Painted the sensors white using a bit of correction fluid.

Painted the area surrounding the sensors and "track" black using normal marker.

The paint work on the sensors are completed with normal pink marker.

The same old painting trick for the "usual" mono-eye camera part.

Done for both sensor parts. ^^

The paint marker used for the sensors is this one: T.W.I.N A.R.T dual tip marker from Sun-Star Stationery Co. ^^

The broad tip is not particularly special, but the sharp tip on the other end of the marker is pretty good for fine detailing. ^^ I actually have a few other colors from this marker series. ^^

And so concludes the work on HG 1/144 Sergei's Tieren Taozi. ^^ Having two separate postings for the entire work feels like a drag actually. If all the parts that were just panel lined excluded, the other somewhat more special paint work would fit into a single posting just nice I believe. ^^; Still, I prefer a more detailed log of the whole process. ^^ Since photos of the parts were taken when the panel lines were applied, I might as well showed them and talked a little bit about the work. ^^

The postings on the first Tieren Taozi will be much shorter next time when I work on that kit. ^^
