Revoltech Nicholas D Wolfwood Part 5 [Final]

Man in red, man in black

The last posting for Revoltech Nicholas D. Wolfwood starts with another round of action poses after the previous posting. ^^

The figure's flexible neck joint can be "utilized" to create a very lonely and sad image on the figure. ^^;

Since this entire review series is a double feature of Revoltech Nicholas and the recently concluded Vash the Stampede, an appearance of the latter in this last posting for Nicholas is well in place. ^^

As mentioned before, "the Punisher" is a lot more awesome in display as compared to Vash's gun. ^^

Unlike the previous two double features of Revoltech Yamaguchi Sengoku Basara Date Masamune with Sanada Yukimura and Play Arts Kai Bayonetta with Jeanne where the two figures share a lot of similarities in terms of level of details, number of option parts included and articulation design, the contrasting factors between Vash the Stampede and Nicholas D. Wolfwood are more glaring than their similarities. Apart from coming from the same anime series and a few identical Revoltech joints used for the figures, most other features are different. ^^

In a way, I even think that they are more suitable to be reviewed independently.

Anyhow, their differences do make them a pretty interesting pair. ^^ Vash's design featuring outstanding red and elaborate details but uses a rather normal weapon, versus Nicholas's design of black and simple details but wields a ginormous weapon that is anything but normal. ^^ The connection between the two figures may not be obvious as Revoltech Yamaguchi Sengoku Basara Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura (except for those who can relate them to the two characters as seen in "Trigun" I think), but both are equally fun figures to have nonetheless. ^^
