A gathering of all the action figures that have some sort of "connection" with the character in this final posting of the review series on RAH Mari Illustrious Makinami. ^^
With her Revoltech Fraulein version:
While its proportion is not as great as the RAH version, the face sculpture and paint details are very nicely done. The paint work on her eyes is totally commendable. ^^
With the first RAH action figure in my collection - Chunli. She was mentioned in every single one of the previous postings on Mari I think. ^^
Super large versus overly slender legs. XD
With another 1/6 action figure in my collection: 1/6 Jill Valentine (B.S.A.A. Version) from Hot Toys.
I supposed if a character's eyes (with the pupils included) can be seen very clearly from afar, yet the nose seems to be missing, it's most likely someone from an anime series. XD In comparison with Jill Valentine, the "anime" nature of Mari is so obviously plain to see. ^^
And finally, the band of meganekko: XD
Revoltech Fraulein Mari Illustrious Makinami, Play Arts Kai Bayonetta and Miyuki in (Figma) Summer Fuku Ver., (Figma) Winter Fuku Ver. and Nendoroid form.
Definitely a very beautiful figure of a character I like very much. ^^ At the moment, out of the many merchandises released based on the character, this is my favorite version of Mari Illustrious Makinami, mainly because of the face sculpture and paint details, large size and special material used for her Plug Suit. While it's supposed to be an action figure, I treat it more like a fixed figure with some ability to move instead, since its articulation design is flawed as mentioned in the previous posting.
Speaking of which, Medicom Toy released another version of Mari Illustrious Makinami in this RAH series - the school uniform version a few months after the initial Plug Suit version came out. I'm very sure RAH Mari in school uniform has far better articulation than her in Plug Suit, since her uniform that isn't designed as a one-piece suit won't restrict the articulation of any of the joints.
Then again, I like her in Plug Suit better, so I didn't bother thinking about the other version when it was announced and released. ^^
With the third movie of "Rebuild of Evangelion" coming in next year, I wonder if there's any more costume change planned for Mari XD
Anyway, for me, this isn't the last figure of Mari to be reviewed actually. The Figma version I got last year is still nicely sealed in its box. ^^;

There's sure some significant height difference between your RAH Mari, Chunli and Jill Valentine despite all being 1/6. Mari is a head taller than the other 2, and Chunli with her enormous thighs. ^^;
